Buying for Flavor
If flavor is the point, shop the terpene panel, not the THCA percentage. Total terpenes around 2% is genuinely loud, the top three compounds tell you the direction (citrus, gas, cream), and freshness does more for taste than potency ever will. Pair it with low-temperature vaporization and the flavor argument mostly makes itself.
What matters most here
- Vendors who publish terpene panels — the publishing itself is the signal
- Recent harvest and test dates; terpenes fade months before potency does
- A convection or hybrid vaporizer run low, 330–370°F, where flavor lives
Honest note · Do not chase the highest THCA number for flavor — potency and taste are different axes, and the record-potency jars are frequently the ones where terpenes were an afterthought.
